NRI student murdered, no arrests
New Delhi, May 12 (UNI) A 21-year-old NRI student was allegedly found dead today under mysterious circumstances in Mukherjee Nagar area of North-West Delhi, with stab wounds on his neck.
Kannan Mehra, studying Philosophy in the University of Delhi, was found lying dead at his rented accomodation in Mukherjee Nagar's Hudson Lane by his landlord, according to police sources.
As he was not seen for the past two days, the landlord went to check his room, where he found him lying dead, said the police.
The boy's body had stab wounds, it said, while adding that no arrests had been made.
Kannan, whose father Anchal Mehra is an Indian and mother an American, had come from the US to study here last year.
