Lakhs spent to bring Telgi to Mumbai from Pune
Mumbai, May 12 (UNI) The CBI court here today expressed concern over the large amounts of money that has to be spent to bring multi-crore fake stamp paper case kingpin Abdul Karim Telgi from the Yerawada jail in Pune for the trials here in Mumbai.
Telgi is facing nine cases here in Mumbai and special court judge C K Bhedi observed that the government has to spend lakhs of rupees per day to bring Telgi to Mumbai from Pune.
Telgi has to be produced in the court in person here since the video conferencing system has not been functioning for the last three months.
