JMFC Court extends judicial custody of arrested suspected terrorists

Hubli, May 12 (UNI) Judicial Magistrate First Class Court I today extended Judicial custody of 12 arrested suspected terrorists to till June Four.

The Judge also granted permission to conduct Norco-analysis test on suspected terrorists Hafeez Hussain Mulla alias Adnan and Sabit bin Abdul Karim alias Shibli, who were produced before the court today, between May 19 and 24 they be produced before the court immediately after the test.

However, the other 10 suspected terrorists--Mohammad Asif, Raziyauddin Nasir alias Riyazuddin Nasir alias Mohammad Gous, Asadullaha H A, Shakeel, Allabaksha Yadavad, Mirza Ahmed Beg, Yahya Kammakutti, Safdar Nagori, Sayyad Nayeem and Sayyad Sadiq were not produced before the court due to security reasons.

The judge asked both Adnan and Shibli whether was any torturing for them by the police and both replied in the negative and said signatures on black paper were obtained by the police.

Mr A A Savanur, advocate, who appeared for the accused submitted to the court to record the statement of the accused.

The suspected terrorists having links with banned SIMI had allegedly master minded the plans for blasting several places including tourist spots in the state.
