Jai Corp net up by 85.1% at Rs 38.81 cr
New Delhi, May 12 (UNI) Jai Corp today said it has posted 85.1 per cent hike in its profit to Rs 38.81 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 20.96 crore for the same period previous year.
The total income too increased 82.7 per cent to Rs 147.57 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2008 from Rs 80.73 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.
The Company has posted 78.3 per cent increase in its profit to Rs 128.15 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 71.84 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007.
The total income too surged 27.8 per cent to Rs 438.01 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008 from Rs 342.6 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007.
The Group's consolidated audited result for the year indicates 91.3 per cent increase in its profit after tax (including Associates) to Rs 141.10 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 73.72 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007.
The total income has increased 34.7 per cent to Rs 465.75 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008 from Rs 345.7 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007.
