Chandrapur hottest in Mah with max temp 44.7 degrees
Nagpur, May 12 (UNI) Heat wave continued unabated today in Vidarbha region of Maharashtra with Chandrapur recording a maximum temperature of 44.7 degree Celsius, making it the hottest place in the state.
Nagpur registered a maximum temperature of 42.8 degrees, followed by Akola with 40.8 degrees and Yavatmal at 41.6 degrees, according to official sources.
In the North Maharashtra district of Jalgaon, the scorching heat wave continued to persist with Jalgaon city recording a maximum temperature of 40.7 degrees.
