BJP begins 12-day agitation against price hike
Ranchi, May 12 (UNI) Beginning its 12-day agitation to protest the Centre and state government's failure to control price rise, the Jharkhand BJP today gheraoed the Chief Minister's residence here.
Party's state spokesperson Biranchi Narayan said thousands of party cadres participated in the agitation.
Mr Narayan said a procession, led by former Union minister Yashwant Sinha, marched to the CM's house and shouted anti-government slogans.
He said their agitation would continue till May 23.
'' Protest march will be taken out every day in the state capital by the workers from two districts during this period'', he added.
