River disputes should be solved as per Centre's guidelines
Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu, May 11 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister K Rosaiah today said the southern states having disputes in sharing river water should solve it as per the guidelines of the Central Government.
In an informal chat with newspersons at Villupuram here, where he attended the silver jubilee celebrations of the Arya Vaisaya Mahasabha, he said Andhra Pradesh had interlinked 76 rivers sucessfully.
The state was giving thrust on agriculture and industrial development, he said adding that free medical card was being provided to all ration card holders in the state and rice at the rate of Rs two per kg through PDS as in Tamil Nadu. UNI XR PAB ROY JT KN1846
