Four soldiers killed as Army lorry plunges into Chenab in Doda

Doda, May 11 (UNI) At least four soldiers were killed and one critically injured when an Army lorry plunged into the Chenab river while giving way to the livestock of Bakerwals at Gath Morh near here in Jammu and Kashmir, sources said.

A 2.5 ton lorry of the Army, which was on its way to Arnorra from Pul Doda, rolled down into the river while the driver tried to give way to the livestock of the nomadic Bakerwals.

Rescue operation was conducted by the locals and army jawans.
