CRPF personnel beat up journalists

Kolkata, May 11 (UNI) Two journalists and a photographer of Bengali electronic channel ''24 Ghanta'' were mercilessly roughed up by CRPF personnel at Bandowan in Purulia district today.

Police here said all the three sustained severe injuries and were admitted to hospital.

They went to Bandowan after the Maoist-triggered landmine blast in which one BSF personnel was killed and eleven injured, five of them critically, they said.

The injured included a local journalist of the channel - Saptarshi Som, they added.
