Woman forced in flesh trade: 6 jailed
Satna, MP, May 10: A local court has awarded seven years of rigorous imprisonment to six people, including two women, for holding a woman in captivity and forcing her to indulge in flesh trade.
The prosecution said that the victim lodged a complaint in Kotwali police station on October 1, 2005 alleging that Rewa district residents Savita, Anita, Raviraj, Vishnu, Omkar and Ram Milan kept her in capitivity. She, however, managed to escape from their clutches.
First Additional Sessions Judge S C Upadhyay delivered the verdict yesterday.
