Gavaskar's resignation to be seen in right perspective

Pune, May 9th 2008 : President of Board of Control for Cricket in India Sharad Pawar said that veteran cricketer Sunil Gavaskar's resignation from the post of chairman of the committee global cricket governing body must be seen in the right perspective.

Pawar while addressing a news conference in India's western Pune on Thursday said that the resignation needed to be seen in the context of 'conflict of interests'.
