Two women burnt alive in separate incidents in Kutch

Bhuj, May 10 (UNI) Two women were burnt to death in separate incidents in Kutch.

Firdaus Sattar Luhar (30) was doused with kerosene oil and set ablaze by her mother-in-law, Mariumbai, last evening. Critically burnt Firdaus succumbed to her injuries in a local hospital during the treatment last night, police said.

Mariumbai has been arrested and a case was registered against her.

In another incident in Gandhidham, Hirbai Matang (22) was set on fire by her in-laws on May 4.

Hirbai was first admitted to Civil Hopital in Gandhidham in a serious condition and then shifted to Civil Hospital at Bhuj, where she died last night, they added.

Police have arrested Hirbai's husband, mother-in-law, brother-in-law and sister-in-law in this connection and registered a case against them.
