TNAU SC/ST Assn staff plea

Tiruchirapalli, May 10 (UNI) The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) SC/ST Employees Welfare Association appealed to the State Government to fill up the existing backlog of 250 vacancies in teaching and non-teaching posts meant for SC/ST in seven agricultural colleges and 48 research centres of the university immediately.

In a press release, Association Secretary M Saravanakumar said a resolution to this effect was adopted at it's general body held here today.

The meeting appealed to the TNAU to recognise their association immediately and establish a special cell to redress the grievances of the SC/ST employees.
