Six arrested for looting soyabean tanker
Dhar, MP, May 10 (UNI) Six people, including a woman, have been arrested on the charge of looting a tanker containing soyabean worth Rs 16 lakh from Amjhera in this district, police said today.
The tanker, containing 156 tonne refined soyabean, was being conveyed from Indore to Ankaleshwar in Gujarat on April 22 when Shakila boarded the vehicle seeking lift up to Pavagarh.
A few people stopped the tanker near Amjhera as a part of the plan and started beating up driver Jujhar Singh and vehicle cleaner.
Later, they fled away with the tanker.
About 9,000 litre soyabean sold by the culprits has been seized.
Three accused are absconding.
