Shankracharya discusses Kashmir issue with Abdullah

Jammu, May 10 (UNI) Shankracharya, the revered saint of Puri Muth discussed a wide range of topics, including Kashmir issue, with former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and MP Farooq Abdullah here last evening.

Dr Abdullah called on Shankracharya Swami Adhokshanand Devtirthji yesterday at Gandhi Nagar and discussed several issues related to valley's peace.

''In about a 45-minute-long discussion, we talked about present situation in Kashmir and strengthening of communal harmony and peace in the region,'' Shankracharya Swami told UNI.

The Revered figure of Puri Muth is performing week-long ''aradhana and yajna'' here for peace in Jammu and Kashmir and the bordering areas of Pakistan.
