Sexual harrassment drives student to suicide

Hubli, May 10 (UNI) A 17-year-old boy allegedly committed suicide following alleged sexual harassment at Dharwad last night.

According to police, Chetan, a student of a private coaching class, from Shiggaon town of Haveri district, took the extreme step by hanging himself with a towel in the bath room of the private hospital at Dharwad.

Suspected sexual harassment by a professor was stated to be the reason behind the suicide, police added.
