'Sexual harassment' drives student to suicide

Hubli, Karnataka, May 10 (UNI) A 17-year-old boy reportedly committed suicide following alleged sexual harassment at Dharwad.

According to police, Chetan, a student of a private coaching class, from Shiggaon Town of Haveri District, took the extreme step by hanging himself with a towel in the bathroom of a private hospital at Dharwad last night.

Suspected sexual harassment by a professor was stated to be the reason behind the suicide, police added.
