Patna records max temp of 38.3 degrees Celsius

Patna, May 10 (UNI) The heatwave continued to sweep the city and its suburbs unabated today with the state capital recording a maximum temperature of 38.3 degrees Celsius as against yesterday's 38 degrees.

City dwellers preferred to remain indoors during the afternoon to avoid the scorching heat.

Local Met office personnel said the minimum temperature was recorded 26 degrees Celsius this morning.

However, maximum relative humidity remained as low as 24 per cent this afternoon, officials informed.

Moreover, Met officials predicted clear sky during the next 24 hours.
