Nepali Congress demands action against Maoists in Nepal

Kathmandu, May 10 : Nepali Congress (NC) has demanded strong action against the Maoists who are involved in violent attacks against NC workers even after the Constituent Assembly (CA) polls in Nepal.

Issuing a statement, party Chief Secretary Shobhakar Parajuli also demanded that the government give appropriate compensation to those thrashed by the Maoists.

"NC condemns the unpolitical acts like attacking of NC workers and arson at their houses and shops," Kantipur quoted Parajuli as saying.
