Dungeon dad requests a visit from his wife

London, May 10 : Incest monster Josef Fritzl has requested a visit from his wife after an Austrian court extended his remand custody.

After spending almost two weeks in a remand prison, Fritzl reportedly declared his wish to receive visits his wife, whom he "loved".

Fritzl's wife Rosemarie, 68, is being cared for in a psychiatric hospital, along with her daughter Elisabeth, 42, and her six grandchildren.

It was not known if she had accepted her husband's invitation, or whether she had been told about his request, reports the Telegraph.

The 73-year-old monster, who kept daughter Elisabeth as a sex slave in a bunker beneath his house for 24 years, is likely to face a murder charge over the death of one of his children.

He has confessed that one of the seven children he fathered with Elisabeth, 42, died shortly after birth in the underground dungeon.
