10-kg RDX, UBGL grenades recovered in Jammu

Jammu, May 10 (UNI) A huge quantity of explosives and ammunition, including 10 kg RDX powder and UBGL grenades, were recovered from a militant hideout at Suchani forest area of Samba district in Jammu and Kashmir, official spokesman today said.

During a joint search operation conducted by Army and police in Suchani forests last night ten kg-RDX, three UBGL grenades, 135 rounds of AK 47 ammunition, 111 PIKA rounds, three AK 47 magazines, two detonators and a radio set were recovered from a hideout, defence spokesman Lt Col S D Goswami said.
