Tractor trolley overturns: 2 killed, 16 hurt

Chhatarpur(MP), May 9(UNI) Two people were killed and 16 injured when a tractor trolley carrying villagers for a community marriage overturned in Nowgaon area of this district, police said.

The deceased were identified as Pankunwar Bai(55) and Ashok(4).

Ms Pankunwar Bai was on way to the community marriage at Nowgaon organised under the Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojana for her daughter Halkibai's marriage.

The accident occurred yesterday due to the driver's negligence, police said, adding the injured were being treated at Nowgaon primary health centre.
