Railways carry 67.72 million tonnes of freight during April 2008

New Delhi, May 9 (UNI) Indian Railways carried revenue earning freight traffic of 67.72 million tonnes during the month of April 2008.

There is an increase of 6.67 million tonnes over the freight traffic of 61.05 million tonnes carried by the Indian Railways during the same period last year, reflecting an increase of 10.93 per cent. UNI BBS AM GC1933
