Film Producer released on bail

Hyderabad, May 9 (UNI) Telugu Film Producer Abhinav Reddy, who surrendered before the city police yesterday, was released on bail after he was produced in a local court today.

Abhinav, who had alleged contacts with mafia don Chota Rajan's close aide Aziz Reddy, killed in an alleged police encounter recently, was released on conditional bail.

Nikhil Reddy, also a film producer, had recently complained to the police that Abhinav, hired Aziz Reddy to settle a monetary dispute with him regarding investment in a film, which was yet to be released.

Nikhil also complained that Abhinav, his co-producer ransacked his office after the death of Aziz.

Abhinav denied the allegation that he had hired Aziz and said neither was the film was completed, nor the money paid even after the deadline.
