Apollo Tyres FY08 net up 125 pc at Rs 270 cr

New Delhi, May 9: Apollo Tyres Ltd today said its net profit has increased 125 per cent to Rs 270 crore for FY08 compared to Rs 120 crore during FY07.

The net sales grew nine per cent to Rs 4,690 crores for FY08 compared to Rs 4,300 crores during FY07.

The Board of Directors recommended a dividend payout of 50 per cent, which will need approval at the company's AGM later in the year.
