8 died, 4 injured in road accident

Jaipur, May 9 (UNI) As many as eight people were killed and four injured when a jeep collided with a truck near Sindhru in Pali district last evening.

While seven people including three women died on the spot, one succumbed to injuries later at a hospital in Jodhpur, police sources said.

Three injured were being treated at a Government Hospital in Pali while one was hospitalised in Jodhpur, the sources said.

Pali District Collector has announced relief of Rs 10,000 to the next-of-kin of each of the deceased and Rs 5,000 to each injured from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
