Sonia slams BJP for declaring UPA soft on terrorism

Tumkur, May 8th 2008: Kicking off the Congress party"s election campaign in poll-bound Karnataka, party chief Sonia Gandhi slammed the main opposition Bharatiya Janata Party for declaring that the ruling UPA government was soft on terrorism.

Addressing an election rally at Tumkur on Wednesday Gandhi said that the BJP itself was guilty of rescuing terrorists and had no business to level such charges against the Congress.
