Two Maoist guerillas injured in encounter
Gaya, May 8 (UNI) Two guerillas of proscribed CPI (Maoist) were injured in an encounter with police at Jamunia Kala village under Dumaria police station in the district today.
Police said acting on a tip off, a team of police raided the village to nab the Maoists.
As police reached near the hideout, the Maoists opened fire on them and two guerillas were injured in the ensuing encounter.
The Maoists, however, managed to escape with the bodies of their colleagues, police said, adding one revolver and several live cartridges were recovered from the spot.
