Steel Ministry to reward Hindi writings on iron, steel

New Delhi, May 8 (UNI) The Steel Ministry has invited original writings in Hindi on iron and steel sector.

The selection of prize-winning entries, published between April 1, 2007 to March 31, 2008, will be done by a three-member committee set up by the Ministry, an official release said today.

Six copies of manuscripts or books written or published must be submitted to Joint Secretary, Ministry of Steel, by September 30, the release added.

The winner of the first prize will receive a cash award of Rs 20,000 while second and third prize winners will receive Rs 16,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively.
