NMCE suspends futures trade in rubber, chana, soyoil
Ahmedabad, May 8 (UNI) The National Multi-Commodity Exchange (NMCE) today suspended futures trade of all the maturities in rubber, chana and soyoil.
This was in pursuance of the directions from the regulator, Forward Markets Commission (FMC), to suspend trade in rubber, chana, soyoil, besides potato, through an order issued yesterday, asking the exchanges to settle all outstanding contracts at yesterday's closing price, an NMCE release said here today.
The order says the suspension stand is to be revoked on September 6, 2008 unless notified otherwise.
