Nagpur records max temp at 42 degrees Celsius
Nagpur, May 8 (UNI) The heatwave, sweeping Vidarbha region and Jalgaon district of Maharashtra, continued unabated today with Nagpur recording the maximum temperature of 42 degrees Celsius.
The maximum temperature in Jalgaon city and Bhusawal town was 39 degrees celsius and 40 degrees respectively, official sources said.
So far, four deaths due to sun-stroke have been reported from the district.
People in the city preferred to remain indoors during afternoon, to avoid the scorching heat.
