Judges get courier, explosive powder suspected inside

Kanpur, May 8 (UNI) Explosive powder was suspected to have been received by Judges of this city through courier today.

Giving this information to newspersons, Inspector General of Police (IG), Kanpur zone, P K Tiwari said, ''the Judges of separate courts received some powder material in these couriers. Only after forensic tests, we can confirm, whether the powder is gun powder or not.'' In total, 49 envelopes were received through speed-posts, of which 41 contained the powder, the IG informed, adding the envelopes were sent from Naubasta area of the city and carried the name of one Jugal Kishore as the sender.
