JSW Steel reduces steel price to counter inflation
Mumbai, May 8 (UNI) Leading steel maker JSW Steel has announced price reduction of Rs 4,000 in price for its Hot Rolled, Cold Rolled and Galvanised products.
The reduction will be applicable for steel consumption and sales in India, except for term contracts and material consumed for further value added exports.
''Keeping the overall national economic interest in mind and as a measure of support to the Government, we have decided to reduce the prices,'' JSW Steel VC and MD Sajjan Jindal said, in a release issued here today.
The price reduction is effective from May 1.
