Crude oil thieves booked under PASA
Bhuj, May 8 (UNI) Police have booked seven persons under Prevention of Anti-Social Activities (PASA) Act in Kutch for their involvement in crude oil theft.
The seven were arrested in October 2007 for stealing crude oil from the state owned pipelines.
The gang allegedly used to drill holes in the Mundra-Delhi crude oil pipeline at Satapar village in Anjar taluka and draw away the oil.
Considering the seriousness of the crime, the police have now decided to book them under PASA provisions.
