YouTube launches local site in India

New Delhi, May 7: Video sharing website YouTube today launched local Indian site featuring video search for the content relevant to India.

''With local features such as as promoted videos, feature videos and homepage promotion, YouTube launched its local site in India,'' YouTube International Manager Sakina Arsiwala told reporters here. The internet giant has already signed partnership with Eros Entertainment, Rajshri Group, IIT Delhi, NDTV, UTV, Room TV, India TV, Krish Cricket, IINA, among other production houses to bring Indian content to the site.
