Vascon to set-up IT SEZ in Ahmedabad
Ahmedabad, May 7 (UNI) Pune-based construction major, Vascon Engineers Limited has announced plans to set-up a 1.5 million sq.ft IT/ITES SEZ at Sanathal village, near S G Road here.
The project, named Vtech ITZ, comprises 26 acres of notified IT/ITES SEZ and will include sufficient hospitality and shopping facilities to cater to the immediate needs of the occupants. It is expected to be completed in three years, with the first phase slated to be ready by May 2009.
Speaking to reporters, Vascon Managing Director R Vasudevan said that this is the company's first venture in Western India outside Maharashtra.
The project involves an investment of Rs 350 crore and is being developed by Vascon in association with Agarwal Estate Organisers of Gujarat and Pristine Properties of Pune.
