Uninterrupted power supply in summar in Rajasthan

Jaipur, May 7 (UNI) While most of the Northern states including Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand are facing prolonged power cuts,power companies in Rajasthan are prepared to ensure uninterrupted power supply this summer.

An official spokesperson said here that the power administration in the state was all geared up to maintain uninterrupted supply during summer season.

He said the present demand had already reached the mark of 1,000 lakh units per day and the power distribution companies had made necessary arrangements to maintain the supply.

The spokesperson said, " We have already assessed the peak requirement and made arrangements accordingly".

He said power reforms implemented in the state in recent times had yielded good results and enabled the authorities to face critical situations more comfortably.
