ULFA camps busted in Arunachal
Itanagar, May 7 (UNI) Security forces busted two ULFA camps inside the Manabhum Reserve Forest in Lohit district of Arunachal Pradesh.
Official sources said here today that the troops of 19 Kumaon Regiment launched a search operation on May 5 and busted two camps, deep inside the forest, which were being used by militants for night halt.
The camps were large enough to accommodate five to six militants, the sources disclosed.
The forces also recovered a huge quantity of medicines, discharged batteries, improvised kerosene lanterns, salt, discarded clothes and disposable water bottles, the sources added.
