Three children drown in tank
Pudukottai, May 7 (UNI) Three children today drowned in a local tank in which they went for taking bath at Viralimalai near here.
Police said they were identified as Lekha Sri (eight), her brother Parthasarathy (seven) and their relative S Sivanandan (seven).
Fire service personnel rushed to the spot and recovered bodies from the tank.
The bodies were sent to the Government Hospital at Tiruchirapalli for post-mortem, police added.
