Tech Mahindra enters partnership with FRiENDi

Chennai, May 7 (UNI) Tech Mahindra, the country's sixth largest software exporter and largest solution provider focused on global telecom industry, has expanded its Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) client base by entering into IT partnership with FRiENDi mobile, the first MVNO in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, to service its IT requirements.

Under this arrangement, Tech Mahindra would enable FRiENDi mobile to the next stage of its MVNO infrastructure development by providing MENA-wide implementation of FRiENDi mobile's ERP, Business Process Automation, Reporting and Web Self Care Systems, as well as state-of-the-art community-based applications and value-added services, a company release said here today.

FRiENDi mobile had plans to initially launch in two Middle Eastern countries and later expand to 14 countries in the MENA region in the next two years. This would provide substantial boost to Tech Mahindra's revenues in this region.

Tech Mahindra would also leverage this partnership to look for more opportunities in India in the MVNO business. Tech Mahindra had already delivered BSS/OSS and IT Solutions to the global MVNO operators.

Tech Mahindra was chosen by FRiENDi mobile for its deep telecom understanding and strong Greenfield delivery capabilities to meet aggressive timelines for launch and beyond, the release added.
