Software engineer commits suicide in Noida

Noida, May 7 (UNI) A 25-year-old software engineer committed suicide here today, apparently due to strained relations with her family members, police said.

They said Kumari Reena Singh, a software engineer with Birla Software, hanged self at her residence at A-14, Sector 56, Noida at around 2100 hrs.

Unmarried, she was staying separately from her parents who have a house in Sector 62, Noida.

Her father, J P Singh, is a deputy commissioner with the Sales Tax Department in Noida.

Police suspect love affair as the reason behind her taking the extreme step.

The girl had left a suicide note, saying she took the extreme step due to some dispute with her family members who ''did not'' love her.
