Seven Lankan Refugees in Special Camp

Ramanathapuram, May 7 (UNI) Seven Sri Lankan nationals, including five women, took refugee in the Special Refugee Camp at Mandapam, here today.

Official sources told UNI here that the refugees, comprising four families hailing from Mullaitheevu and Vavuniya regions of the Island nation, had arrived in Tamil Nadu recently with valid documents.

They arrived here this evening and registered their names with the authorities of the Special Refugee Camp. Later, they were housed at the Camp, the sources added.
