One injured by lightning, another in road accident in Kashmir
Srinagar, May 7 (UNI) One person was injured by lightning while another was wounded in a road accident in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said.
They said one Reyaz Ahmad Chopan was injured by lightning in the forest area of Bran Saman Behak Shopian in south Kashmir.
The injured was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
In another incident, a pedestrian was injured when a vehicle from Srinagar to Jammu hit him at Lethpora on the highway. The injured was admitted to Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) at Soura.
Meanwhile, a house was gutted in a fire incident at Soibug in the central Kashmir district of Badgam.
