Multipurpose card "Saicom Passport" to be launched

Chennai, May 7 (UNI) Saicom Infosystems, a Singapore-based company, will launch "Saicom Passport", a multipurpose card, beneficial to people of all classes.

The card would be launched in the middle of next month in Chennai and it would be gradually expanded to various parts of India, company Managing Director Siva Chippada told reporters here today.

''Saicom Pasport" is more than a discount, privilege and others cards available in the market.

''It is a card to help people save their valuable earnings'', he added.

The card would enable the holder to enjoy several benefits, including discounts, in retail stores, restaurants, fitness centres, resorts, travels, theme park, shopping malls, clinics, hospitals among others.

The company was in the process of negotiating with several banking, insurance, hospitals, retail outlets and the travel industry.

To a question, he said the company was looking to enrol five lakh people in the frist year.
