Juniper Networks doubles R

New Delhi, May 7 (UNI) Juniper Networks today said it has doubled the headcount of its research and development centre in Bangalore to over 1,200.

''The number will be increased by more than 1,200'' Juniper (India) Managing Director Sridhar Sarathy said in the statement.

The expansion comes five years after the R&D centre first began operations with a staff of 30 engineers.

''The Bangalore facility is now Juniper's largest R&D centre outside the US and it continues to grow rapidly as the company invests in R&D,'' he added.
