Ex MP wife stabbed to death in Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow, May 7: A former MP's wife was axed to death in Tanda town in Ambedkar Nagar district, police said.

Manrani Devi (80), wife of late former MP Ramji Rai was stabbed with a sharp edged weapon late last night, when she was fast asleep at home, DIG Abhay Kumar said.

Investigations were on. However, reason of the crime was yet to be ascertained.
