Bajrang Dal blocked road; policemen suspended

Agra, May 7 (UNI) The Bajrang Dal activists created ruckus and blocked road, irked over beef being recovered from a car in Shamshadbad area here today.

According to police, villagers spotted blood oozing out of a car that had fallen into a gorge between Tajganj and Shamshadbad area.

Police reached the spot and found beef in the car, the information spread speedily in the area, wherein Bajrang Dal activists protested by blocking the road.

The blockade could only be lifted after the intervention of the senior officials.

Meanwhile, a police constable was suspended for dereliction of duty and manhunt was launched to nab the absconding driver.
