140 properties sealed in Delhi as drive continues

New Delhi, May 7 (UNI) The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) sealed about 140 properties in the national capital today.

With this, a total figure of 1636 such units have been sealed so far, an MCD release here said.

The sealing drive was carried out across Delhi in compliance with the Supreme Court orders.

As many as 31 properties were sealed in Rohini zone while the figure stood at 29 in South Zone.

The other sealed units include two in City Zone, 14 in Shahdara (S), 21 in Central, 11 in West, four in Civil Lines, three in Najafgarh, 15 in Shahdara (N), eight in Sadar Paharganj and two in Karol Bagh, the release added.

There was no sealing action in Narela Zone, the MCD said.
