Woman found murdered

Mumbai, May 6: A 26-year-old housewife was found murdered at Netaji Cooperative Housing society, Dharavi in northcentral Mumbai late last night.

Neighbour of deceased complained police of a unpleasant smell from a room. At around 2000 hrs yesterday, the fire brigade officials along with police opened the door found Shabina alias Soni Ajgarali Shaikh's body was lying in pool of blood.

Her neck was split by sharp weapon and was stabbed at various other parts of the body when found.

Police have registered a case of murder.
