Sony signs deal with Pritish Nandy Communications
New Delhi, May 6 (UNI) Sony Pictures India has signed a three-movie deal with Pritish Nandy Communications (PNC) here today.
''This co-productiion deal is a major breakthrough for Indian cinema. It will bring together Indian talent and international studio expertise to optimally exploit global opportunities for Indian movies,'' a company statement said.
The details of the deal, however, were not available.
One of the three movies is Raghupati Raghav Rajaram, which is in the final stages of completion.
Sony has also bought the world distribution rights of PNC's forthcoming comedy movie, 'Meerabai Not Out', in which Team India's test captain Anil Kumble plays himself.
